Southeast KANSASWORKS, in partnership with area businesses, will host a free “Resume & Job Search Workshop” on Tuesday, December 8th at the Independence Memorial Hall & Civic Center from 1pm to 4pm. This hybrid event will be available for job seekers to attend both in-person and virtually through zoom.
During the workshop, job seekers will learn tips to help build a custom resume to highlight employability skills, participate in mock interviews with business partners, receive feedback from business leaders and professional coaching from workforce staff.
Attendees will also learn about entrepreneurship and training opportunities, local job opportunities and receive a job packet full of community resources and applications/job postings for businesses hiring right now.
