We are thrilled to celebrate Karen Ulanski, who was recently recognized at the Workforce Innovation Conference for her outstanding service and dedication. For the past 11 years, Karen has been a valued member of the Local Area V Workforce Development Board, representing the Adult Education sector. Her commitment to advancing adult education and strengthening its collaboration with the local workforce system has been nothing short of extraordinary.

With over 26 years of experience at the Paola Adult Education Center, where she currently serves as the Regional Director, Karen has devoted her career to helping individuals improve their skills, achieve their educational goals, and build better futures. Her leadership has been pivotal in fostering a strong partnership between Adult Education and the workforce board, ensuring that education and workforce development remain deeply connected.

Karen’s passion for education, combined with her extensive experience, has made her an invaluable asset to the workforce system. Her expertise in understanding the needs of adult learners and aligning them with local workforce opportunities has helped countless individuals succeed in their careers.
