The purpose of a job interview is for the employer to gain knowledge of an applicant on their personality, competencies, skills, and achievements in an effort to select the best candidate for a job opening. Job seekers must prepare for an interview to ensure they make the best impression and highlight relevant work experience connected to the job description.
